A ‘Round’ is an advanced meditation technique that combines the 20-minute Vedic Meditation practice with a specific sequence of gentle yoga asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathwork). When the asana and pranayama components are practised prior to meditation, the body begins to unwind deep-rooted stress before closing our eyes to meditate. Despite being a soft and gentle practice, a round has a profound effect on lifting fatigue and increasing our mental clarity and adaptation energy, particularly when incorporated into our regular routine. A round is a technique that can be practiced at home to deepen your meditation practice and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is a pre-requisite for the Exploring the Veda advanced knowledge courses which commences early 2023. A course in rounding takes 2.5 hours to complete and includes take home notes.
